2010 has been a  whirlwind  --   SO much is going on in the art world  !!  and all good stuff !!   People are beginning to get back to their ordinary lives and that means they are now - or soon will be - thinking about those special things that are intriguing, comforting, and that give them a soft place to fall. 

CONNECTIONS:  ART TO LIFE,  another exhibit by The Nashville Artist Guild is currently showing at the Customs House Museum in Clarksville, TN.

 I have two paintings in this group exhibition which runs through June 28, 2009.   You have lots of time to see this work..... don't miss it !

I'll be participating in a group exhibition with the Nashville Artist Guild, March 1 - 31 at the Gordon Jewish Community Center.  The exhibition will be in the Janet Levine March Gallery and a reception held for the artists and their guests on Thursday,  March 5, 7 - 9 PM.

Recently I attended a critique group with fellow artists and took two paintings to share...works that I had completed some time ago but had never shared or shown. Simple, but very raw and personal. They were done during a period of great stress and emotional pain. I suppose they can be called *Shadow Works*.... unexpectedly I received many positive comments and requests that I do more works in the same vein. They are figurative and thereford different from my landscapes. So....we'll see what the canvas has to say ......
